Deputy of the State Duma Rodina Victoria Sergeevna supported the initiative of the International Women’s Unionand joined the jury. The International photo contest “Mom and children in national costumes”.
The international photo contest “Mom and Children in National Costumes”, which has been implemented since 2019, has received wide public recognition and high appreciation at the state level. It is important to note that the competition is held under the auspices of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO (2024-2025) and with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Nationalities and the Russian Geographical Society. In 2026, which has been declared the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the mission of the contest to preserve the cultural code and strengthen interethnic harmony is becoming particularly relevant.
The main objectives of the competition:
Preserving the national identity and cultural heritage of the peoples of Russia and friendly countries through the demonstration of the beauty and diversity of national costume.
Strengthening traditional family values, intergenerational ties and the formation of positive family traditions.
The project includes several nominations: the main photographic one, as well as special ones — the vocal competition “Lullaby in the native language” and “National Dance Competition”.
