\"\"Since March 1, 2026, applications are being accepted for the seventh season of the International Photo Contest “Mom and Children in National Costumes.” The creative competition, dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, promises to be the most ambitious in the project’s history.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Organizing Committee of the contest, represented by the Regional Public Organization “International Union of Women,” has officially announced the start of the application campaign. The event is held with the informational support of the Federal Agency for Nationalities (FADN of Russia). The online publication “Embassy Life” acts as the General Information Partner.<\/p>\n

Three Categories: Photo, Song, and Dance<\/strong><\/p>\n

The year 2026, declared the Year of Unity of the Peoples in Russia, has set a high standard for the organizers. The goals of the contest fully align with the state agenda: preserving ethnocultural diversity and strengthening traditional family values.<\/p>\n

This season, participants are offered three categories:<\/p>\n

    Photo Contest “Mom and Children in National Costumes”<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 the main category for families and creative groups, where the connection between generations is revealed through the artistic shot.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    National Lullaby Contest<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 a video category for vocalists performing pieces in their native language.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    National Dance Contest<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 a platform for solo performers and dance groups representing the choreographic heritage of their peoples.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    There are no age restrictions for participation: the organizers invite both very young talents and representatives of the older generation (grandmothers, grandfathers) to demonstrate the continuity of traditions.<\/p>\n

    How and Until When Can You Apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n

    The submission of works started on\u00a0March 1<\/strong>\u00a0and will last until\u00a0September 25, 2026<\/strong>, inclusive. The results will be summarized and published on the official contest website by October 25, 2026. All laureates and winners will be featured in the project’s online gallery.<\/p>\n
